Country music today has gotten away from it's roots. Mainstream country music has hand claps, click tracks, auto tuning and rap beats. But down in Texas in the early 2000's the Texas music movement started to change things around. At the same time bands like Cross Canadian Ragweed and The Great Divide were bringing their sound from nearby Oklahoma into the Texas Scene.
